Bejou is doing wonderful I am so happy he found a home here!!
I kept his name, although I’ve been saying “bay-jo” and recently learned it’s supposed to be “bey-ju” but he doesn’t seem to mind! He took no time at all to adjust, my other kitty was a bit hesitant, but Bejou was super patient and sweet to him and after 12 hours they were sleeping in the same bed giving each other baths. They’re the best of friends now. No concerns about his behaviors, at most he likes to scratch the couch but if I move him over to the scratcher he stays there and purrs when I give him praise.
He’s wonderful with the word no, and has been so good with counters and cords! Bejou definitely loves his wet food! He is the sweetest, friendliest boy. He loves sleeping next to me in bed, he comes running up when I get home and needs a hello pet. I’ve never heard him hiss or growl at anything, it blows my mind looking at this perfect baby and wondering how he didn’t have a home already but then I realize that wouldn’t have brought him to me, and he’s got a home with me forever!
