We kept the name but spell it Axel instead. He fit in perfectly from day one! It took Derbe (our current dog) longer to get used to him than it did him to her, but they get along well together! He loves hanging out with our extended family’s dogs most of which are his size and energy. He nips but that is more puppy than anything and he jumps but we are working on that. Otherwise, he likes to chew on things but again…puppy. Holy cow! He is smart! He learns new commands quickly, especially when you give him a treat. He is such a cuddler and an attention hog!
