Book Buddies is a program designed to help our shelter animals become more adoptable through social interaction with children. Reading to the animal calms and comforts them. It also helps children improve their own reading skills. Prizes are available!

Who: Children ages 6-15 *Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult *Children age 12 and older may stay up to 2 hours without adult supervision *Participants are asked to complete an orientation prior to starting the program.

When: Wednesday through Friday 1PM – 5PM , Saturday 12PM – 4PM
