Ready for another pet? I wasn’t ready but I missed having a dog to walk and play with. So I started volunteering at the shelter. One day while at the shelter the girls were talking about needing a foster home for one of the dogs.She did not like to be in the kennel. Not knowing if would qualify I asked what I had to do to be a foster for her. The girls said just provide her with a safe and loving home. I wasn’t working at the time so I thought I could do that. It was a good feeling knowing I was making her life more comfortable in a home rather than in a kennel. Fostering is a great way to fill a void if you are not ready for a full time commitment, Also to make even give a pet you may have a companion. The shelter provides you with everything you need.
